Easter 2010
A LaFemme Community Initiative Program.
Over Easter (just before our big comp on the 10th) will be holding a charity BBQ for the homeless people around Brisbane.
This event will the the first of many under the LaFemme Community Initiative Program.
We are all blessed to lead happy healthy lives with the extra privilege of being able to train at gyms and take supplements and eat great food etc.
And usually copious amounts of all of these.
As we all know there are many less fortunate people than us, so we are happy to give something back to help the community.
With the support of some key businesses through donations of food and beverage etc we intend to hold a BBQ in the Brisbane CBD area and provide a good meal and some good company for a couple of hours for the city's homeless. Hopefully with the support of a local band and city council we will have a lovely event to be remembered by all.
This is a total charity event with no money changing hands and no profits to be made. Total community spirit at it's best.
We ask for your help also. We would like the assistance of 10 competitors to prepare and serve food and drinks and be sociable with someone less fortunate than yourselves. For your help we offer the 10 girls, 'free' registration to compete at 'le Tournament d'or' and a LaFemme Thankyou, gift pack.
If you are going to compete on the 10th April at le Tournment d'or and would like to help out at our charity bbq, please let us know by email asap.
We will only be accepting the first 10 girls for this event. And remember you then get to compete for free.
Upcoming....
Intercontinental Championships!
We are now developing our product to release to the world stage.
With the help of a few friends in Indonesia, Britain, New Zealand and the USA, we will be holding an Intercontinental Championships with the entire world invited.
We haven't set a date or place for this event yet.
We would like to hear some feedback on your thoughts on this matter.
We could possibly hold it in any of those countries or right here in Australia, but we would like to have it in the place where it would be the most convenient for every competitor wanting to attend.
And we would also liek to know your thoughts on a possible date.
Early, Middle or Later in the year. Closer to other comps or further away from them.
We would be considering holding this event in 2011 to give us plenty of time to plan it consicely.
Please give us some feedback.
All States Challenge!
Either later in 2010 or 2011 we will be holding an All States Challenge.
This is another brand new innovation from LaFemme.
This competition is like no other competition as all competitons are based on an individual winner, whereas ours is a State winner.
It is an exclusive 'acceptance only' competition, and definitely not one that you want to miss.
Only '2' girls from each state will be accepted to compete in each division.
ie. Athletique Open - QLD 2 - NSW 2 - VIC 2 - SA 2 - WA 2 etc.
This will give each division a good number of competitors.
Competitors will be judged as a 'state' team with the final winner being the 'state' in each division. Each competitor will receive an award and the winning state will receive a Championship Shield with each competitors name on it. The Shield will be held on display at the gym or training centre of the winning team for the following year. Each year the new winning state and teams names will be added to the shield.
Remember there are only 2 places per division per state, so get your entries in quick.
